'''Why do you want to work with the Swathanthra Malayalam Computing?'''
I feel that nowadays native languages are being ignored for a global language. As a result the richness, the culture and the nuances associated with it are disappearing. As malayalam is my native tongue, I want to do my part in propogating it. And I feel that working with like minded people will be enriching.
'''Do you have any past involvement with the Swathanthra Malayalam Computing or another open source project as a contributor?'''
No.
'''Did you participate with the past GSoC programs, if so which years, which organizations?'''
No, I haven't.
'''Do you have other obligations between May and August ? Please note that we expect the Summer of Code to be a full time, 40 hour a week commitment'''
I can devote the requisite time for the project.
'''Will you continue contributing/ supporting the Swathanthra Malayalam Computing after the GSoC 2013 program, if yes, which area(s), you are interested in?'''
I will try to contribute regardless of being selected or not. I am interested in disambiguation of word meanings and mapping words across different languages.
'''Why should we choose you over other applicants?'''
I am currently working on a project in a similar vein that deals with creating a knowledge base in Sanskrit, and further extending it to other Indian languages, primarily to Malayalam and Kannada. So I feel that I can extend my learning to this project and also learn more in the process.
