Autocorrect for Malayalam

മലയാളം എഴുതുമ്പോള്‍ സാധാരണയായി വരുത്തുന്ന തെറ്റുകള്‍ യാന്ത്രികമായി തിരുത്താനുള്ള ഒരു സംവിധാനം ആണ് ഓട്ടോകറക്റ്റ് .

ലിബ്രേ/ഓപ്പണ്‍ ഓഫീസിലേക്ക് വേണ്ടിയുള്ള ഒരു എക്സ്റ്റന്‍ഷന്‍ ആയിട്ടാണ് ഇതു ഇപ്പോള്‍ തയ്യാറാക്കിയിട്ടുള്ളത്.നമ്മുടെ വിക്കി വഴി ശേഖരിച്ച വാക്കുകളടക്കം ആയിരത്തോളം വാക്കുകള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയാണ് ഇതിന്റെ ആദ്യരൂപം പുറത്തിറക്കുന്നത്.

ഇന്‍സ്റ്റലേഷന്‍

ഈ ഫയല്‍ acor_ml-IN.dat ഡൌണ്‍ലോഡ് ചെയ്യുക. അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ഇവിടെ നിന്നും ml_autocorrect.02.tar.gz ഉള്ള പൊതിക്കെട്ട് ഡൌണ്‍ലോഡ് ചെയ്തു extract ചെയ്തിടുക. അതിലെ "acor_ml-IN.dat" എന്ന ഫയല്‍ താഴെ പറയുന്ന ഡയറക്ടറിയില്‍ പകര്‍ത്തി ഒട്ടിക്കുക.

ഗ്നു ലിനക്സില്‍

The location for Linux OS is

/Home/User Name/.openoffice.org/3/user/autocorr

If the folder is not visible, try ... view - show hidden files

വിന്‍ഡോസില്‍

The location for Windows OS is

C:\Documents and Settings\UserName?\Application Data\OpenOffice.org\3\user\autocorr
or in the folder: C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 3\Basis\share\autocorr

If the folder is not visible, try ... Tools - Folder Options - View - Show hidden files and folders

പരിശോധിക്കുന്ന വിധം

Make sure that open office detect the language as "Malayalam" on the status bar. If it doesn't then... Tools - Options - Language settings - Languages - Enable for Complex Text should be checked and CTL should be Malayalam

Now you can use any Input Method for e.g. Swanalekha and type the word അക്ഷറം if it changes to അക്ഷരം then the software is installed correctly. കൂടുതല്‍ മനസിലാക്കാന്‍ ചിത്രത്തില്‍ ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്യുക.

ഈ പതിപ്പില്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്ന വാക്കുകളുടെ പട്ടിക http://wiki.smc.org.in/Autocorrect/1 ഇതിലെ തെറ്റായ വാക്കുകള്‍ നല്‍കി സംവിധാനം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുനുണ്ടോ എന്ന് പരിശോധിക്കാം.
